UK vs. South Carolina

UK's defense came to play but as usual this year, the offense was nowhere to be seen. Mike Hartline has to be the worst QB in the history of the SEC! Why this bum continues to get the start over Randall Cobb is a mystery of the modern world. The play calling of the worst OC in the SEC, Joker Phillips, doesn't help any. 9 out of 10 plays in his playbook are some form of screens. If a high profile team like Auburn can fire their OC for not getting the job done, seems like UK should follow that example. But what does Mitch Barnhard do to reward his less than mediocre performance? Give Phillips the head coach job when Rich Brooks retires. Looks like UK wants to be mired in mediocrity for years to come.

I went down to this game Saturday and had a really good time. UK should have won, they had plenty of chances to. But, you are right. Hartline isn't worth a [censored], he is absolutely freakin horrible. I dont know how many times he overthrew his WR's or RB's and just plain missed wide open passes. If it had not been for the blocked fieldgoal that SC ran back for the touchdown, then UK would have won this one.

It doesn't really matter to me, I'm not a UK fan by any means. The wife is though so I'll pull for em when I need to. I just think they would have won that game if they had a half way decent QB.
